BTC of New Bedford is currently enrolling patients in a clinical trial testing the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medicine for the treatment of chronic migraines.

We are seeking patients between 18 and 80 years old who have been living with chronic migraine for at least one year. Qualified participants began experiencing migraines before age 50 and should be able to distinguish between tension headaches and migraines. Individuals selected for this study will participate in a 12-week treatment period, and approximately one third of patients will receive placebo. Compensation may be provided for time and travel.

You may qualify for this study if you:  

• Are between 18-80 years of age
• Have been experiencing migraines for a least 1 year
• Are averaging 10 or more migraine and headache days per month
• Do not have fibromyalgia or chronic pain requiring daily medication
