Major Depressive Disorder with Insomnia

Preferred Research Partners is seeking participants diagnosed with major depressive disorder (MDD) for a clinical research study. If you are taking an ineffective antidepressant medication and are having trouble sleeping, consider enrollment to help test the safety and effectiveness of an investigational treatment for MDD in adults.

 

You may qualify for participation if you:

·        Are 18–74 years of age

·        Have been diagnosed with depression

·        Have taken antidepressants in the past that did not work well for you

·        Are currently taking an antidepressant medication but still have symptoms of depression

·        Have difficulty falling asleep or staying asleep, or do not feel rested the next day

 

You may not qualify for participation if you:

·        Are diagnosed with:

o   Bipolar disorder

o   Narcolepsy

o   Autism spectrum disorder

o   Borderline personality disorder

o   Alzheimer’s disease

o   Vascular dementia

o   Parkinson’s disease with cognitive impairment

o   A significant cardiovascular disorder

·        Have a history of seizures

 

There are additional requirements to qualify for this study. A member of the study team will discuss these with you during screening.
