This study is a research study testing the safety and effectiveness of an investigational drug, called tasipimidine, to see if it will help treat insomnia (sleeplessness) and how safe it is to use. You may be eligible to participate in the UNITAS Study if:


  • You are 18 to 65 years of age
  • You have been diagnosed with insomnia disorder
  • It takes you 30 minutes or more to fall asleep, or you are sleeping for 6 hours or less at least 3 nights a week for the past 3 months
  • You spend 6 to 9 hours in bed each night

There are other requirements for taking part in this study. The study team will discuss these other criteria with you. Taking part in this study may help in the advancement of a potential treatment for insomnia (sleeplessness). Reimbursement may be available for study-related expenses.
